Activision recently announced that you can pre-order Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and gain access to the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II’s Story Campaign earlier than the October 18th street date. On October 13, 2022 – Activision posted a new blog post on their official Call of Duty Blog to announce the campaign rewards for playing the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II Story Campaign. To obtain these rewards during campaign isn’t fully understood, or revealed. Just the rewards for playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II Story Campaign…

According to Infinity Ward, these rewards are earned chronological mission order…

It’s not implacably stated how these are earned. Just that they are earned “chronological mission order.” To be fair, they’ve done this before with “chronological mission order” in secret locations, i.e. secret intel locations. In addition, Infinity Ward explains further of the rewards…

In addition to all of these rewards, completing the full Campaign awards you with the Union Guard Weapon Blueprint.
This Assault Rifle variant is Captain Price’s signature weapon that comes with four pre-equipped attachments: the Aim OP-V4 Reflex Optic, the SZ 1MW PEQ Laser, the FSS Covert V Silencer on the Muzzle, and the Lockgrip Precision-40 Underbarrel Vertical Grip.
These attachments make this Weapon Blueprint an all-around great Primary Weapon; it is an excellent starting point for players of all skill levels across all game modes. Compared to the base weapon, this Weapon Blueprint offers more stability when aiming, reduced vertical and horizontal recoil, and a clear sight picture among other benefits like sound suppression.

Again, Modern Warfare II’s Campaign completion rewards can be unlocked at any time, but you can earn them before the game’s official launch on October 28 through Campaign Early Access.

Infinity Ward and the teams at Activision also talked about the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II’s Beta, and what they plan to do about the cheaters with their newly developed Ricochet Anti-Cheat system that originally launched in 2021 before the launch of Call of Duty: Vanguard.

Beginning at launch with Modern Warfare II and soon followed by the launch of Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 on November 16, RICOCHET Anti-Cheat will operate on a new, unified security platform. This new system provides #TeamRICOCHET more protection such as: better detection capabilities, additional access to develop and deploy new mitigation techniques, and expanded freedom to update our security more frequently than ever before.

Ricochet’s Anti-Cheat was in testing mode during Call of Duty: Vanguard, so according to Infinity Ward, Ricochet will be expanded, and widely applied across the Call of Duty Network of servers – the technology that will be deployed with Modern Warfare II on October 28th, and with Warzone 2.0 on November 16, 2022 – the technology will grow exponentially because Ricochet will not just stop cheaters with hit detection, it will also scan your computer for software that would modify Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2.0 to automatically cheat. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II is scheduled to be released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, and PC via Battle.net and Steam on October 28, 2022.
