Since the teaser reveal of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, Infinity Ward dripped soft marketing strategies in the build up to the world reveal. Infinity Ward said “Stay Frosty” in a snarky, tongue-in-cheek way to say “stand by.” Infinity Ward released more teasers. Recently, in a Worldwide Reveal livestream, Infinity Ward released the official Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II World Reveal Trailer to YouTube. Today, at Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest 2022 livestream, Infinity Ward showed off new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II campaign gameplay and it takes place in a mission called “Dark Water.”
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II is scheduled to be released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, and PC via Battle.net and Steam on October 28, 2022.
