Sheesh level up a bit first :P

You can actually lower the difficulty if the game is too hard. While I
would say that playing it at the default level is admirable and
probably most fun, certains stops in the game are just ridiculously
difficult no matter how leveled up you are. Case in point I was a level
21 bard when i last played with decent glass armour and some shitty
little monsters were killing me like I was nothing. I could come up
with strategies to pick at them over a long period of time but
eventually it just became annoying. So I lowered the difficulty and a)
I did not end up handicapped in any way in terms of achievements, b) I
did not lose experience or money, c) the game was still a whole lot of
fun.

I'd suggest you try it. If it sucks, you can return the difficulty to
its default level afterward.
