Infinity Ward, the original creators of Call of Duty released a new video on their YouTube channel to reflect as a retrospective on Call of Duty. In the video, Infinity Ward employees went on the record to say that they want to bring big changes to Call of Duty…
Two big quotes are “I want people to play our new game and say, ‘Wow, I haven’t seen CoD change that much since [Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare],” and “I see a new level of storytelling coming to this franchise.”
Stay tuned for the World Reveal of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare tommorrow morning…
Call of Duty Stream to reveal Infinite Warfare
The stream starts at 10:30 am PT/PST tomorrow morning, on the Call of Duty Twitch channel.
The weekend is not over, even if you think that Activision’s marketing strategy is over with the recent YouTube/Twitch/Instagram teases. Activision has been employing some of the most unique marketing strategies ever employed to a video game. I mean, you have in-game advertisements going on in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’s Nuk3town map…

Nuk3town is free to everyone, will rotate in main playlists all weekend, so anyone playing Black Ops 3 are seeing all these leaks. There are more and more Easter Eggs being found in Nuk3town as we get closer and closer to the World Reveal of Infinite Warfare…

Treyarch updated the Nuk3town map with a new hotfix that would tease players with a new soundbyte from Infinite Warfare…

The Call of Duty YouTube account updated their channel with the following teaser trailer…
That’s not all. Activision created a page, but is one of the most unique marketing strategies ever. CODMessenger is a page that treats itself as if it’s a bot… This bot is responding to Facebook members with mission debriefings, here’s an example below…
Call of Duty Messenger on FaceBook
Why is this important? Facebook has a separate app for mobile users called “FB Messenger” so this page is reaching just about every single Call of Duty fan that likes the page that uses a phone or tablet or other mobile technology. This has a much, much larger reach than normal Facebook pages right now.
I think that’s enough information to digest for now. See you soon!
Following multiple leaks of 2016’s Call of Duty title – the question was still in the air – are these leaks real? Is 2016’s Call of Duty title really “Infinite Warfare?” Well, wonder no longer. Activision filed a trademark for Infinite Warfare in two different variations “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare” and “Infinite Warfare.”
Treyarch released a Black Ops 3 hotfix update to tease players about the next iteration of Call of Duty and you can see them below…
Followed by this hotfix…

Call of Duty on Twitch has been livestreaming a loop of the video below with several quotes. The marketing slogan for this particular video is “Know Your Enemy.”
These are the quotes that will loop…
“We are the Settlement Defense Front. You answer to us.”
“Our blood boils, and so too shall your oceans.”
“Our destruction will be final. You will watch as the walls around you crumble.”
“You will know loss, and you will be left with nothing. We are in power now.”
“We are your enemy. We are the Settlement Defense Front.”
“What can you do to prevent what’s coming? Nothing.”
“Your future is obsolete. We will pour destruction like molten lava.”
“Your bones will shake. Your monuments will fall. Your world will be left in ruins.”
There are a few factions referenced in Call of Duty’s Twitch and Instagram accounts, and they are: SDF (Settlement Defense Front), and another one: UNSA. Not only that, there are many marketing fliers going around with Zakhaev’s uprising faction called “Infinity” and another one called Wave Seven. What’s even more interesting, is that Wave Seven has a logo that looks like it reads “IW7” which obviously refers to either Infinity Ward’s 7th major Call of Duty title, or the 7th IW engine.
According to an image released as a “cover” image for Google+ marketing, the codename for “Infinite Warfare” is Genesis. A while ago, there were leaks that leads to a possible title being “Call of Duty: Genesis.”
Below, you see these fliers and images…
Infinity Faction/Wave Seven What is this faction trying to sell?
A high res poster has leaked from what appears to be a Canadian retailer. The poster outlines two editions of Call of Duty Infinite Warfare, Standard and Legacy. The legacy edition will include a remastered CoD 4: Modern Warfare. The poster reveals that the remastered MW will include the original campaign mode and 10 multiplayer maps – these maps are yet to be leaked/detailed.
If only 10 multiplayer maps are coming at launch for the remastered CoD 4 then its safe to assume the others will come alongside in some form of DLC package.
As reported before, a Modern Warfare Remaster is in the cards. However, a new leak has arrived, and it’s for a Canadian retailer. In this leak, “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare” is referenced again. Furthermore, the supposed Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare remaster is once again referenced. This time, the whole logo is open and wide for everyone to see, however, we still don’t know if this remaster is just for COD4 or the entire trilogy.
Infinite Warfare & COD4
Now, before you overreact, realize this is intended for Canadian residents. The prices are insane, yes, but they’re in CAD (Canadian Dollars). As you can see, there are two versions of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare: Standard Edition costs $79.99 CAD, and the “Legacy Edition” costs $109.99 CAD. The interesting part is that the Legacy Edition has “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered” as a bonus. It’s a download voucher according to the icon below the box art. What’s even more interesting is that it features Campaign, and features only 10 Multiplayer maps. However, the original COD4: Modern Warfare had 16 total maps.
The poster tells you to read for more information at the FAQ regarding the remaster – it’s not online yet. I’m thinking it will be revealed next Tuesday, May 3rd, 2016. Otherwise, any leak thus far, including this one is deemed as unconfirmed until the official reveal on Tuesday. Treat everything you see as rumor until the reveal. See you then.
There has been many leaks in recent months, and we’re now at the end of April. The worldwide reveal of Call of Duty’s 2016 title is imminent any day now. The biggest leak to date is the leak of “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare” by Sony themselves.
Infinite Warfare Leak by Sony
And, that’s not the only leak of this supposed “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.” A user on Reddit leaked an image of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. He found it while at Target. Charlie Intel found a higher-resolution image of Infinite Warfare’s box…
As you can see, “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare” looks real, and it shows the Worldwide release date of Infinite Warfare. Not only that, the pamphlet also shows that the game includes a “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered.” We’re not sure if this is the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Trilogy or just Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered. However, Amazon has Modern Warfare Trilogy listed on their website…
Modern Warfare Trilogy Leak
You think that’s it? Nope. As I mentioned earlier, a reveal of Call of Duty 2016 is imminent any day now. Many sources are saying you can look forward to a reveal of Call of Duty 2016 on Tuesday, May 3rd – according to a memo intended for a retailer…
COD 2016 Reveal set for May 3rd!
Furthermore, the official Call of Duty Twitter account responded to a user that posted that he would literally crap his pants if a COD4 Remastered was released…
So, we all know that a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remaster is on the way. Questions remain: Is this a remaster of just Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, or ALL 3 titles? Is this exclusive just to Single Player, or both Single Player and Multiplayer?
I’d be happy if this “Modern Warfare Trilogy” includes Modern Warfare, Modern Warfare 2, and to a lesser extent, Modern Warfare 3? I’d be even more excited if the remaster included the Multiplayer portion provided that they fix the the glitches, hacks, cheats, and exploits. And then put in some extras such as playercards and some kind of theater mode or at least allow for share capabilities (PlayStation 4).
If “Legacy Edition” includes the aforementioned trilogy, then those pre-orders are just going to skyrocket. No doubt about that.
Yesterday a poster image leaked and revealed the legacy edition of Infinite Warfare. Within the legacy edition the poster reveals that included will be a remastered Modern Warfare (CoD 4). Today, the Call of Duty Twitter account hinted very heavily that the leak is true:
A snapchat user has posted a poster image for the new Call of Duty game entitled Infinite Warfare. The poster is for an edition of the game called “Legacy Edition”. On this same poster it mentions that a remastered Modern Warfare (COD 4) will be included.
The game is set to release on Friday, November 4, 2016.
A futuristic theme seems inevitable as the man in the poster appears to be holding a futuristic helmet.
