    Advanced Warfare Multiplayer detailed

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s Multiplayer was revealed earlier today. We’re getting information from everywhere coming out of Activision’s reveal of the latest Call of Duty title. If you pre-order Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare today, you will get the game a day earlier than when the game is supposed go on retail shelves on November 4th.

Say it with me: ‘If I pre-order Advanced Warfare today, I’ll get the game on November 3rd.’ Say it. Because that’s your pre-order incentive. You can pre-order any regular SKU’s available, and get Day Zero Edition while it lasts.

Currently, there’s the regular Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare game disc, Atlas Limited Edition, Atlas Digital Pro Edition, and Atlas Pro Edition. [Article] To see what you’ll be getting with your Atlas Pro Edition, see the video below…

So, when you power up your Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare disc for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and/or PC, where will you go? Multiplayer. That’s why you’re here. You’ll be taken to a new menu system. The background is possibly a hanger at Atlas Corporation. Don’t be fooled, it’s not a screenshot like the Call of Duty predecessors like last year’s Call of Duty: Ghosts. This is actually a Virtual Lobby. It’s obvious, because as you move to a new section, the lobby camera pans to a new area at times.

You will select where you want to go, select your game mode, and you’re going to be brought to Create-A-Class, or as Sledgehammer Games calls it: Pick 13. Yes, it takes after Black Ops 2’s Pick 10 system. This is where you’ll be able to select your Advanced Warfare weapons, equipment, exo suits modifications, and abilities.

    Pick 13 Screen
First Look at the Pick 13 System in Advanced Warfare

As you can see, there’s a selection for “Firing Range,” this is the Virtual Firing Range. As you select your weapons, attachments, perks, equipment, and abilities – you can go into the firing range to test your customized loadouts. Much like everything else, your exo abilities and your exo launcher counts towards the grand total of Pick 13. The perks are no longer just perks, they’re “Exo Perks.”

Much like the other games in the series, Scorestreaks has it’s own section, and count somewhat towards Pick 13. Not to fret, though, Advanced Warfare has stage Killstreaks. Yes, like Mortal Kombat. In Defender, for example: A tidal wave washes over the rocks and becomes a a new “pool.” Another example in Defender is that somewhere in the map is a laser projector that is triggered possibly by a Field Order.

And, finally, and not the least – CreateaOperator (or Create-a-Soldier) you can customize the look of your Advanced Warfare operator.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare releases to stores on November 3rd for pre-orders. Everyone else gets Advanced Warfare on November 4th, 2014 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.
