Within’ that announcement, they said it’s based on a third party property. Bakugan: Champions of Vestroia is somewhat of an Action/RPG, where you duel with others using monster-style creatures. Kinda like Digimon, or Pokemon. WayForward showed off 17 minutes of gameplay…

Paper Mario: The Origami King is scheduled to be released on July 17, 2020. Bakugan: Champions of Vestroia is scheduled to be released on November 3, 2020 for Nintendo Switch.

New Paper Mario: The Origami King gameplay revealed

Paper Mario was originally released for Nintendo 64, and sold pretty well for a Mario-based game. It spawned 6 titles across Nintendo 64, GameCube, Wii, Nintendo 3DS, Wii U. Players has been requesting a Paper Mario game for a while now, and out of nowhere, Nintendo made a surprise announcement. The 7th entry in the Paper Mario series is coming to Nintendo Switch. The new title is called Paper Mario: The Origami King, and it arrives soon.

According to a story synopsis…

The kingdom has been ravaged by an origami menace! Join Mario and his new partner, Olivia, as they team up with unlikely allies like Bowser and the Toads to battle evil Folded Soldiers.
Use the 1,000-Fold Arms ability to extend your arms to interact with the environment and solve puzzles. In battle, line up scattered enemies and plan your attack to maximize damage with the new, ring-based battle system that requires both puzzle-solving skills and a quick wit.
