    Black Ops 3 ZOMBIES Details Leaked

    At the moment a lot of the “Zombies” mode in Black Ops 3 is unknown.

    Reddit user Mage3873 has uncovered some leaks in the Black Ops 3 beta files for PC that sheds light on what Zombies will offer in the final release in November.

    Note: None of the below is confirmed by Activision or Treyarch but these have been found in the files released as part of the Black Ops 3 Beta for PC.

    • Theatre/Theater mode will again return and be available in Black Ops 3
    • There will be a story and campaign
    • There may be an option to play as a zombie!
    • The code suggests Black Ops 3 will check the easter egg progress from the previous Treyarch title, Black Ops 2
    • There will be a prestige mode and an XP progression system similar to multiplayer mode
    • Hidden theme music has been leaked of the zombies menu and Shadows of Evil

    The most popular map in both Black Ops and Black Ops 2 is returning to Black Ops 3, Nuketown – now entitled as Nuk3town. The Brazilian Playstation store updated their digital deluxe edition description and mentioned that Nuk3town would be a pre-order bonus.

    Black Ops 2 New Zombie Map Loading Screen Leaked

    An apparent leak for one of gaming’s most prevalent entities hit the web earlier today, as a loading screen for Call of Duty: Black Ops II was prematurely published. However, the images have since gone under much scrutiny. Generally with leaks – in this day and age – there is a lot more to go off of, and what has been collected so far is comprised of only a second of gameplay footage and this loading screen image.

    Whether the information is true or not, the map is called “Bridging the Gap.” Many people say this is simply recently published downloadable content map “Die Rise,” seen through hazy glasses.
    Though the discussion surrounding this reveal is large, there isn’t any evidence or opinion to suggest that this might indeed be a real, upcoming addition to the Call of Duty universe. Furthermore, it’s been almost 24 hours and Treyarch hasn’t “bridged the gap” on this, which is just more reason to believe that this is an inconsequential part of Black Ops II history.

    We might all be wrong. Once the work week kicks in tomorrow, perhaps Treyarch will speak on the issue and any doubts or hopes will be laid to rest. It just seems farfetched that a month after Treyarch published downloadable content in the form of maps that they would start talking about even more of them.

    Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2 could be about to receive yet another DLC pack hot on the heels of Revolution, called ‘Orientation’.The ‘Orientation’ map pack (first spotted by MP1st) has been seen in an image showcasing the DLC’s content in much the same way that Revolution’s advertising did.According to the image, Orientation will bring with it:

    Multiplayer maps:

    • Water
    • Mobile
    • Southpaw
    • Plane

    Zombie map:

    • Dead High

    New weapon:

    • The name of which cannot be seen but appears to be an assault rifle of sorts.

    Orientation, according to the image at least, looks to be delivering a similar level of content as the previous Revolution DLC, but this is still unconfirmed by Activision.

    It does seem a tad premature to start thinking about the next batch of DLC, though. PS3 and PC players are still waiting for Revolution which will launch February 28th.

    Black Ops 2 DLC leaks with possible four maps plus Zombies map

    A possible promotional image for the first “Call of Duty: Black Ops II” DLC titled “Revolution” leaked on the game’s official forums Sunday. The image reveals four multiplayer maps along with a new Zombies map and a bonus weapon for the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U and PC shooter.

    The four multiplayer maps shown in the “Black Ops II: Revolution” image are Hydro, Grind, Downhill and Mirage. Hydro appears to take place at a hydroelectric dam while Grind is set at skate park. Downhill is a snowy map set at a ski resort that reminds us of the Summit map from the first “Black Ops.” Lastly, Mirage appears to be set in China as there are Pagoda-type buildings in the background.

    The new Zombies map is Die Rise which almost sounds like a play on words with the original Der Riese map and “high rise”. The background shows buildings half-toppled over but we’ll have to wait and see if that is something players get to enter or not.

    Finally, the “Revoltuion” DLC adds a bonus Peacekeeper Sub-Machine Gun which is an interesting choice given the amount of complaints from the “Black Ops II” community about how the SMGs are over-powered.

    No release date or price is listed on “Revolution” promotional image but we expect it to $15 (1200 MS Points) like all previous “Call of Duty” DLC packs and to release on Xbox LIVE first followed a month later by the PS3 and PC. There is still no word from Activision or Treyarch on if they are supporting DLC on the Wii U version of the game.

    Update: An image from a GameStop promotion poster indicates that the “Revolution” DLC will be released on Jan. 29. The forum post that leaked the initial image has been removed by Activision.

    Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 netted Activision $500 million in sales during its first week on shelves, but data suggests the series may be in decline. Leaks from voice recording sessions show that the series will march on with Call of Duty 2013.

     

    The Call of Duty machine rolls on. Even as players settle into the world of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, released just weeks ago, details about the next entry in Activision’s shooter series are starting to sneak out. Lines from one of the game’s main characters were leaked onto the web in November, providing some insight into where the story of the series is going.

    The untitled, codenamed Call of Duty 2013 is said takes place in the continuity of Infinity Ward’s Modern Warfare games. Siliconera reprinted the scripted lines of a character referred to as “Ben Burke,” which might be a codename rather than a proper name. Lines from the script include:

    “This is Sentinel Zero One, successful crypto change on C2 net break, requesting immediate update of blue force picture and status of artillery, over. I have you broken and unreadable, I say again, requesting updates to friendly positons and status of arty support. Do you read, over?”

    “Reminds you of Phuket, doesn’t it? Only this time the dust gives you cancer… OK, park yourself and get ready. When this thing kicks off, put a hole in anything that moves.”

    Phuket, Thailand was a setting in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, lending further credence to the expectation that Call of Duty 2013 will in fact turn out to be Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4.

    This is the second time in as many months that voice recording plans for the next game in the series have suggested Activision is making Modern Warfare 4. Captain Price voice action Bill Murray said on October 30 that he was meeting with Infinity Ward in early November to discuss the role he’d play in the upcoming sequel. Infinity Ward responded saying that the news wasn’t true and that it hadn’t talking with any voice actors yet.

    Activision may be damaging its lucrative Call of Duty brand by producing yet another annual sequel, though. Stern Agee analyst Arvind Bhatia said that Black Ops 2 sales suggest that series sales may finally be slowing. “Our checks show initial sales of CoD: Black Ops 2 at some retailers were down as much as 20 percent,” said Bhatia on Thursday, “Subsequently, it appears sales of CoD did pick up a bit over the Thanksgiving holiday. We think the current sales curve suggests CoD: Black Ops 2 sales in its first year could ultimately be down 10 percent to 15 percent year-over-year.”

    On November 5 and 6th 2012, amazon.com shipped a few hundred copies of Black Ops II to a few hundred lucky people. Some players uploaded there videos on JustinTV and Youtube, showing off Zombies gameplay and single player gameplay as well, David Vonderhaar posted on twitter about a person Live-Streaming Leaked gameplay on the night of November 5th, he has not commented on the situation any further.

    Xbox 360 version of Black Ops 2 leaks onto internet a week ahead


    The Xbox 360 version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 has leaked onto the internet a week ahead of release.The game appeared on the usual websites for these things last night eight days before its 13th November release.

    Now, YouTube is packed with gameplay videos, most of the new expanded Zombies mode. SPOILER WARNING: One of these is below.

    Streams have also emerged. Responding, Treyarch design director David Vonderhaar took to Twitter to say: “If you are going to live-stream the game early, which I don’t remotely recommend, you could at least be good at it. :P”

    Then, “I’m really glad people are excited for the game. Legit streams coming up later this week and early next. Watch this space.”

    The news comes a week after reports claimed Black Ops 2 was sold early in Slovakia, although the Xbox 360 leak is thought to have originated from the US. Halo 4, out midnight tonight, leaked nearly a month before release.

    Activision declined to comment when contacted by Eurogamer this morning.
