Treyarch have updated the game settings for Black Ops 3. Version 37.25.30.4 fixes some map exploits, buffs scorestreaks and update the CoD World League Arena Pro settings.

Activision and Treyarch have officially announced the first DLC pack for Black Ops 3 which is due for released early 2016 for PS4 entitled “Awakening”.

The higher scorestreaks in Black Ops 3 are apparently not yielding good enough results for Treyarch according to Vonderhaar. Subsequently, these will be buffed (stats improved) in a future game update.

Sony have updated the Nuk3town Bonus Map item in the PlayStation store to include a new release date of January 26th 2016. The item no longer mentions that it was a pre-order exclusive – so expect everyone to be causing carnage on this map soon.
This comes as no surprise as Black Ops 2 pre-order map, Nuketown 2025 was made available to everyone for free a few months after the game was released.

The Call of Duty franchise has earned a new Guinness World Record for the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.
The UK launch for BO3 saw popular YouTubers, footballers and pro gamers meet in London on 5 November 2015. The event was hosted by Syndicate and streamed through Twitch.
The event beat Halo to be the most watched launch broadcast ever for a videogame.
The broadcast attracted 442,620 unique streams during its two-hour run and peaked with 58,882 concurrent viewers. That makes it the Most watched videogame launch broadcast, beating the figures set by the Halo 5: Live launch broadcast, which had accrued a very healthy 330,000 unique streams 10 days earlier.
The impressive viewing figures further underline the growing roles that the likes of Twitch and YouTube Gaming have for publishers vying for chart supremacy. A week after the Black Ops III launch, a Rise of the Tomb Raider billboard stunt accrued 377,769 uniques viewers across a 24-hour broadcast.
