PS3 GETTING BBC SPORT TV APP

I have just found out today that Sony has announced that they will be releasing a new BBC application on the Playstation 3 console. They are going to offer High Definition live streams of sporting events including Wimbledon, Formula One and the Olympics. They will also be offering on-demand content! Sony have said "Throughout the London 2012 Olympics Games, the BBC Sport app will give audiences access to 2,500 hours of content and up to 24 simultaneous live events, all in HD". "The application has been designed specifically for the 'big-screen' to deliver an ultimate home entertainment experience". Edd Uzzell the Sony category development manager for Bravia has said that "killer app will provide a substantial amount of additional sporting content that you can't get through the current broadcasting model".

I for one can't wait for this, I think it is a great new addition. :y:

i doubt it BBC sport is UK based not america although there is bbcamerica which is just the British shows. it doesnt have american sports. thats what ESPN is for
