now that AC3 is out where do you think the next AC game takes place? I don't want it to conclude Desmond's plot in the current time just yet and hope they continue to jump through time and places in the past

I want japan! with ninja's and samurais that would be so cool feudal japan has high buildings so free running should be no problem.

Imagine Assassins vs Ninjas.. it would be epic

The future. I can just imagine how amazing a huge futuristic city would be, though before that a current day AC seems more likely and would also be very nice to see. Running through the streets doing parkour and whatnot would be cool beans.

I haven't yet played AC3:L but I think I heard that it doesn't include any of the present day story with the animus that some of the others do; though I have only played the first AC.

Ya, there really doesn't seem to be a reason why everything in Liberation is even happening lol

I guess the future would work if they ditch the animus and memory sequences. But then he would wear those nifty clothes.

Lol, well does there need to be that present day aspect of the story? I'd be fine with the story just taking place in its own time, whether it be the past or future, without this animus stuff.

I totally agree.
That animus stuff was very pace-breaking in AC1 and 2, and caused my computer's screen to mess up

Well, now I know that in the end of the game, Desmond pretty much dies(I think?), 2012 is over, and the evil first civilization lady breaks loose...

Based on the end of the game that I have described in the above spoiler, the next game seems like it would probably be modern day or in the future, will be a new main character, and there might not be any more animus stuff.

But I don't know, that is just the vibe I got based on the ending.
