It has been a while since the last Nintendo Direct. Nintendo came out of nowhere with a surprise, impromptu “Nintendo Direct” livestream but in this livestream, instead of calling it a Nintendo Direct, Nintendo prompted to name it “Star Fox Direct,” to focus on a Star Fox reveal. Super Mario Galaxy was released to theatres, and it featured an appearance from Fox McCloud. This cameo sparked discussion as to if there’s a Nintendo Switch game named “Star Fox.” Which there was not, but there are games from Star Fox on Nintendo Switch Online. For those of you who don’t know what Star Fox is, it’s a flight simulator but is more of a rail shooter. The first release was “Star Fox” for Super Nintendo in 1993, and Nintendo was consistent with sequels until 2005.
