It’s been a while since Sony hosted a State of Play focused on game announcements. On June 3, 2025 – Sony has announced that they are hosting a new State of Play livestream on June 4, 2025. Sony says the focus of this State of Play livestream is centered around third party, and first party games for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation VR2. State of Play begins on June 2, 2026 at 2:00pm PT / 5:00pm ET / 11:00pm CEST | June 3 at 6:00am JST.
