Final Fantasy XVI was released for PlayStation 5 on June 22, 2023. Final Fantasy XVI was a PlayStation exclusive, and this frustrated PC players. Square Enix had announced that they would release a PC version as recently as 3 to 6 months ago. On August 19, 2024 – Square Enix finally announced that Final Fantasy XVI (16) will be available on PC via Steam and Epic Games. Along with the announcement of a Final Fantasy XVI port for PC, Square Enix announced that Final Fantasy XVI for PC has a demo available now.
The PC version is actually the most definitive version of Final Fantasy XVI not only because of the updates, patches, upgrades to graphics, and framerate, Final Fantasy XVI for PC also has all of the DLC’s released so far.
