Microsoft has been busy in 2021, Microsoft announced that they would, and did actually complete the acquisition of Bethesda. They also released their latest game console, the Xbox Series X (and S). Today, under the new acquisition, Microsoft and Bethesda jointly held a livestream to announce not just Microsoft and Bethesda games, but also third party games coming to Xbox Series S and X consoles and PC. During the livestream, Microsoft has been pushing the Xbox Game Pass, heavily. Here is the official livestream of Microsoft and Bethesda’s E32021 livestream….
The show was kind-of decent. Starts off with Starfield reveal, has some highs and lows here and there, but tops it off with Halo Infinite Multiplayer reveal, followed by Forza Horizon 5, and Battlefield 2024 Multiplayer reveal. They released new updates for games already announced, along with stealth, sneaky surprises, like a sequel to S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, Hades is coming to Xbox, Age of Empires 4 is coming to Xbox, Flight Simulator is coming to Xbox, and more. Most of the games are launch exclusives, Xbox Game Pass day one games, and/or supported by Xbox Series consoles.
