TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge is coming to PC and consoles

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (abbreviated as “TMNT”) got its start as a comic in 1984. Since then, it has gotten really popular, to the point of having a TV cartoon that was released in December 1987. Shortly thereafter, in 1989, Nintendo Entertainment System (NES for short) was introduced to a TMNT video game. The height of TMNT came during the 90’s with all the toys, merchandise, books – you name it – everything was a TMNT product. You can’t escape the TMNT fever at the time. There was even a TMNT arcade game, this spawned a series of games that TMNT fans are familiar with, especially with the rise of beat ’em up games. The 90’s had at least 2 arcade beat ’em ups, but the popularity did not stop there – they were ported to Nintendo (NES) and Super Nintendo. Genesis had their own “specialized” version called Hyperstone Heist. DotEmu had a successful run with the release of Streets of Rage 4, and now they’re back – and this time, with a big license to the name. Introducing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge. It does not have a release date or platforms they’re intending to release on, but they said it’s coming to quote “PC and consoles.” Which consoles… again, we don’t know. However, they did release a trailer for the new TMNT game…
