It’s been a while since the last State of Play livestream. That livestream was primarily a gameplay overview for The Last of Us II, which launched to screeching success. Sony had a very successful PlayStation 5 reveal, that made people ecstatic for what’s coming. A few days ago, Sony announced that they’d be doing a State of Play livestream for August. Sony said it would not focus on PlayStation 5 games, but rather, PlayStation 4 games. That livestream just wrapped up, and it was a mixed bag of PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 games… Most of which are from third party developers, not PlayStation Studios’ first party developers…
The livestream consisted of the following games…
- Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s about time (PS4)
- Hitman III (PS4/PSVR/PS5)
- Braid Anniversary Edition (PS4)
- The Pathless (PS5)
- Spelunky 2 (PS4)
- GenShin Impact (PS4)
- Aeon Must Die (PS4)
- Anno Mutationem (PS4)
- Bugsnax (PS5)
- Star Wars: Vader Immortal (PSVR)
- Control DLC [Expansion 2 AWE] (PS4)
- Auto Chess (PS4)
- The Pedestrian (PS4)
- Hood: Outlaws & Legends (PS5)
- Temtem (PS5)
- Godfall (PS5)
PlayStation 4 sold over 112 Million units worldwide. PlayStation 5 is slated to be released Holiday 2020, no firm release date has been confirmed, yet.
