Death Stranding gameplay revealed

This morning, Sony hosted a livestream, revealing the trailer for Death Stranding. Shortly thereafter, they uploaded it to the PlayStation YouTube channel. You can see it below.

There is a lot of story details to unpack here, but it also reveals gameplay elements to the game. As per usual, Kojima is being cryptic with the story, but one thing I noticed is that the game feels like a parallel universe with a game you should be familiar with: Metal Gear.

Along with the reveal, Sony and Kojima Productions announced a few Special Editions of Death Stranding. The box art for the game has not been finalized, but everything else seems to have been shown…
