Gearbox Software has been on a hype-train since close to the end of March. They teased a Borderlands title, then announced Borderlands 3 during PAX East. We did not know much else about the game, but on Twitter, the release date was leaked due to an error on Social Media Manager’s part, I guess. However, we were expecting news on April 3rd, they told us to check Borderlands.com for more information. It was redesigned to conform to Borderlands 3’s announcement. We now know that Borderlands 3 is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on September 13, 2019.
That’s not all, the announcement was not without controversy. The game will be distributed through Epic Games’ store at launch, and will continue through April 2020. Gearbox Software says that there will be a gameplay reveal on May 1st.
