On March 24, 2017 there was a massive image leak that shows a Collector’s Edition box art showing that Call of Duty’s 2017 title would be a World War 2 game. This was followed by a few sources close to a few media outlets that this year’s Call of Duty title is Call of Duty: WWII. Then this sparked a few debates, speculation. Shortly thereafter, there was another leak, this time a cell phone image that was blurred out. Then there was another one with a poster. It keeps snowballing until a poster with a release date (November 3rd), and PlayStation marketing icon which purports that PlayStation is once again the marketing partner for Call of Duty. This morning, Sledgehammer Games confirmed on their own website, that their Call of Duty title for 2017 is none other than Call of Duty: WWII. Obviously, PlayStation is a partner again for Call of Duty this year. However, no other information about Call of Duty: WWII was given than that it’s coming to PS4, and Xbox One.
