What Specialists are included in the beta and what are they?
Specialists are the playable characters in Call of Duty: Black Ops III multiplayer. Each Specialist is designed with a unique voice and personality, as opposed to the generic multiplayer soldiers in previous games. Each of them has both a unique weapon and a unique ability, but players can only choose one to use during each match. The chosen weapon or ability becomes usable for a short time after the player fills up their power meter; the power meter is filled up automatically over time, but fills up faster through earning score. Players also can only use one Specialist per match; Specialist selection is done before starting a match. There are nine Specialists, eight of which have been confirmed.
Included specialists:
- Battery
- Ruin
- Outrider
- Prophet
- Seraph
- Nomad
More information about individual specialists can be found here.
Will the beta include ‘Create-a-class’?
Yes, create-a-class will be included in the beta so you will be able to customise your load outs.
What is the ‘Paint Shop’
The Black Ops 3 Paint Shop is only available for Next Gen consoles. It allows the player to create weapon camouflages using up to 64 layers.
More information on the Paint Shop can be found here.
What is the max level you can reach in the multiplayer beta?
The beta is capped at level 28 at the start but will increase as the beta progresses.
Will my progress carry over to the official release of Black Ops 3
No, this would provide an unfair advantage to everyone who did not have access to the beta.
