Rainbow Six Siege X Showcase – March 13, 2025 Livestream

It has been about 10 years since Ubisoft made a massive overhaul to Rainbow Six Siege. What is Rainbow Six? And what is Rainbow Six Siege, you ask? Well, Rainbow Six is a franchise within a franchise. Tom Clancy wrote a bunch of military-style novels, and is currently a “brand” of Video Games. Tom Clancy sold off his likeness to Ubisoft to market the Rainbow Six games in 2008. Tom Clancy is no longer with us today, as he passed away in 2013. So, now, Ubisoft can sell and market Tom Clancy, and/or the Rainbow Six franchise. Many Rainbow Six games have been released, and are mostly tactical shooters, where you and a group of operators tackle tasks in field operations. With Rainbow Six Siege, you are now in a multiplayer “arena” with at least 3 or 4 other teammates, to eliminate your opponents in a variety of matchtypes. This subsection of Rainbow Six has been so popular, it has been supported for 10 years. Rainbow Six Siege is celebrating 10 years this year. And to go along with this celebration, Ubisoft changed the name of Rainbow Six Siege to a name like “Rainbow Six Siege X.” This is not just an update, it’s also a massive overhaul to the “Rainbow Six Siege” engine. This is not available on previous generation consoles, this is now a PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S | X, and PC game.

Alongside the livestream, Ubisoft unveiled that there will be a Closed Beta for Rainbow Six Siege X starting today, to learn more about how you can participate, go to the blog post and learn about how to get in. I’ll leave you with a gameplay trailer for the game. Enjoy!

There are apparently more info about the game…

  • Rainbow Six: Patriots is shaping up nicely

Rainbow Six: Patriots was revealed under unorthodox means of getting the word out about the game’s existence. Normally, major video game companies like UbiSoft reserve these reveals for huge gaming events. Not Patriots, the word went out via word of mouth. So one day an employee was trying to show off the vision for the next Rainbow Six game via a prototype video which you’ll see right now. UbiSoft gave the game a huge green light since gamers all around the world are talking about it.

    Anyhow, enjoy.

Over the weekend, UbiSoft confirmed Rainbow Six: Patriots is indeed in full development via a new trailer. The game is set in New York, and the game will release in 2013 for Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. UbiSoft used the 2011 Video Game Awards to show off the game.

I think the game is shaping up to be a crazy game so far. What do you think?
