After the initial reveal of Disintegration, there were a lot of anticipation by fans for the new title. As we speak, Gamescom 2019 is on-going, and the team at V1 Interactive was present at the Opening Night Live event to showcase the game. You’re playing as a grav-cycle pilot, and you’ll be able to command a small squad of combat units with their unique abilities. The co-creator of Halo, Marcus Lehto describes Disintegration as “a first-person shooter with a lot of real-time tactical elements blended in.”

Before we get into the announcement – I’ll introduce the developers of the game. V1 Interactive is a new game development studio headed by a former Halo developer. His name is Marcus Lehto, who co-created Halo, and was the former creative director at Bungie. Their new project, Disintegration, is funded by Take Two’s Subsidary – Private Division.

The team at Private Division announced the new title, while V1 Interactive expanded on their announcement talking about the game. Not much has been revealed about Disintegration, besides a teaser trailer (embedded above), and their Disintegration website.
