The new mode is called Free Run. The asymmetrical mode is a time trial course. Full of challenges, free run mode tasks you to use the game’s new movement abilities. The courses get harder the further you progress, and can be “punishing” at higher levels.

Gun Game is heading back to the Black Ops series. David Vonderhaar confirmed is interview:
“The game does have Gun Game, there is some one shot stuff going on in Gun Game. But as you would expect from a Treyarch Call of Duty Multiplayer title, a complete custom game set with being able to share and save those variant game modes. What we like is the idea that people can take the game, take the game engine, take the game rules, modify them to suit and make them accessible to all your friends. We are going to take the best of those ideas and mess around with them in the “Bonus” category of playlists.
So never say never. One shot game mode specifically isn’t a particular type of mode but Gun Game is our first entry there and we will see what you guys do and go from there.”

In the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 campaign, your soldier can access cybernetic modifications on the battlefield. The Martial Cybercore abilities allow for fast and stealthy strikes against the enemy.
“The power of current-gen meant we could do it,” he explained. “We actually thought about it back during Black Ops II but we knew it’d end up getting cut because of the amount of time, space and assets needed to fully realise a customisable player character. It just wasn’t worth it. But this time we thought we could do it justice in terms of personalisation, with full mocap and VO data for everything.”
“It’s interesting, because the movie Alien? That was actually written for a man but then they hired Sigourney Weaver and just left the script alone. That’s why she comes off as such a strong, confident character. So we did the same – we wrote a gender-neutral script and the actor brings their personality and gender to the words… but it doesn’t pander to either.
“Then the other reason was talking to our military guys, they were really pushing the fact we’ll be seeing a lot more women in military roles going into the future. We’re talking about 2065, not just in support roles, but in active combat. So we have a female protagonist, but also on the battlefield as well – there’s women there too.”

Then there’s the new Realistic difficulty level to take into account too. “[In Realistic] you have one point of life, so if you’re shot once, you’re dead. It completely changes the way you play the game,” says Blundell. “You all have to survive as a group. You end up respecting the level in a completely different way, and once gunfire opens up, everyone just drops to the ground, because if any one bullet hits you or a grenade goes off near you, you’re dead.” The AI too has been entirely rewritten to “make independent decisions,” he adds. “We have more types of AI than we’ve ever had before.”
