Now we have entered the month of November we have just under two weeks to go before Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is released on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows, and although this highly anticipated sequel looks set to be a vast improvement on the previous game, its the the zombie aspect has gathered a large following. Those who have managed to get hold of the leaked pre-release copies before the release date of November 13 are now starting to show off-screen gameplay movies, and one mentioned was the horseback gameplay from Afghanistan mission.
We can understand that more interest revolves around the zombies, but this footage shown on the CVG website is said to look like a 1980s based mission. They also warn gamers that don’t want spoilers to stay clear other uploaded footage prior to the Black Ops 2 release. The video shows the gameplay from the campaign and although this may not be a big spoiler, we are yet to hear anything from Activision, especially when it comes to the release date that has been broken in parts of Europe.
Looking ahead at the future of the Call of Duty franchise, our latest post spoke about a Modern Warfare 4 announcement being too close to Black Ops 2. The reason for this headline is down to confirmation from actor Billy Murray about starting work on the next chapter. Murray who plays Captain Price may have suggested this is apparent, but Infinity Ward has stated on Twitter that no actors have been approached, and that no formal MW4 announcement will be made so close to the release of Black Ops 2.

In other Black Ops 2 news, Joystiq reports on the soundtrack coming to iTunes around the same time as the game launch, and this will be a joint effort of Trent Reznor and Jack Wall. They highlight the soundtrack will also be included with copies of the Care Package Collector’s Edition or Hardened Edition. On their site, they also provide a link for those who want to hear the main menu theme song on YouTube. In addition to our previous post, would you like to see some drastic changes in Modern Warfare 4?
