Nintendo has been very, very quiet since the last Nintendo Direct. They hosted a few Nintendo Directs here and there, but nothing to write home about. Most of the Directs during Summer were partner showcases, with one or two announcements each. On the morning of September 3rd, Nintendo hosted a livestream to announce Super Mario Bros.’s 35th Anniversary celebration. - Nintendo is releasing a limited production of Game & Watch Super Mario Bros. handheld to be released November 13, 2020.
- Super Mario 3D World + is coming to Nintendo Switch on February 12, 2020.
- Super Mario Bros. 35 is coming to Nintendo Switch Online on October 1, 2020.
- Mario Kart Live Home Circuit is coming to Nintendo Switch on October 16, 2020.
- Super Mario All Stars is on Nintendo Switch via Super NES Nintendo Switch Online now.
- Nintendo is releasing a limited production physical (and digital) run of Super Mario 3D All Stars for Nintendo Switch, and will be available on September 18, 2020 through the end of March 2021.
Note: Super Mario 3D All Stars is a collection of games, it will feature Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine, and Super Mario Galaxy.
