Last week, Sony announced that they were scheduled to reveal PlayStation 5 games on June 4, 2020 in a livestream. Activision was readying the launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s Fourth Season, which was scheduled to start Wednesday. Sony started the day on June 1st by announcing on Twitter and other Social Media sites that the scheduled June 4th livestream was postponed. This is obviously in response to the unrest that is going on across America over the death of George Floyd. Currently, many cities across America are facing protests, riots, looting, and other demonstrations.
Activision followed suit with the Call of Duty accounts across Social Media accounts with a similar sentiment. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season Four has been delayed, Call of Duty: Warzone’s update has been delayed, and Call of Duty: Mobile’s Season 7 update has been delayed.
