NieR: Automata was released in 2017 for PlayStation 4, followed up by the release for Xbox One, and PC. Square Enix announced that they’ve sold 4.7 Million copies of NieR: Automata worldwide since its launch. Last night, during a livestream (which was a Sunday), Square Enix announced their next Neir games are going to be a remaster for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. They will also release a mobile Nier game… First off, they released the teaser trailer for Nier Replicant, which is a remaster of the very first Nier game.
Below is the English version…
Secondly, they’ve released a teaser trailer for their Mobile offering for Nier. It’s called “Nier Reincarnation.” Not much is known about Reincarnation, but upon digging, I found out that this is designed for “smartphones” (loose wording, I know). It’s said to be coming to iOS and Android, which version(s) I’m not entirely sure, but that’s what being said.
The developers of NieR: Automata are celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Nier franchise. We’ll know more about the games as we get them.
