On Twitter, Activision and Infinity Ward has been teasing a “Special Announcement” to come at Gamescom 2019. Geoff Keighley then said that he’ll announce it with Infinity Ward on stage during the Opening Night Live ceremony. Well, that time has come and gone. Infinity Ward said that there will be an alpha test for 2v2 Gunfight for the weekend of August 23th. Shortly thereafter, Activision took to their blog to explain how the alpha test works. It will go from August 23, 2019 to August 25, 2019. It will be open to anyone with a PlayStation account, all you’d need is an internet connection.
