Over the weekend, Activision held their own event called Call of Duty XP 2016. During their CoDXP 2016 Global Briefing Livestream, Activision unveiled both Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered Multiplayer Modes. There was an embargo for anything from Call of Duty XP, until the afternoon of CODXP Day 1. However, Activision held off Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered’s Multiplayer Reveal until the next day.

This was shown briefly during the original Reveal Trailer, everyone including myself were puzzled as to what it was. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered ships with 10 maps at launch, but at Call of Duty XP, Eric Hirschberg revealed that ALL 16 maps from the original Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare will be remastered. Raven Software teased that there will be surprises alongside the 6 final maps to arrive in December.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered arrives first to PlayStation 4 owners in October, with other platforms to follow. The only way to get Modern Warfare Remastered is through purchasing Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’s Legacy Edition, Legacy Pro Edition, and Digital Deluxe Edition.
