Electronic Arts is well intent on overtaking Activision’s streak of record-breaking day-one sales at retail. Recently, Modern Warfare 3 was released and went on to matching box-office numbers. Call of Duty: MW3 matched Star Wars’ 775 million dollars in box-office record. [MW3Blog article] Electronic Arts sold about 10 million units of Battlefield 3 by the end of the holidays. Electronic Arts wants to push forward with another one of their brands, known as Medal of Honor. Electronic Arts used the on-going Game Developers Conference to reveal their newest Medal of Honor, also showing off the power of Frostbite 2, the same exact engine that Battlefield 3 was using.
Not much is known about Medal of Honor Warfighter, other than that the game is coming to Xbox 360, PS3, and PC this coming October.
