INDEX AND NINTENDO COLLABORATE ON A NEW GAME TITLE
TOKYO, JAPAN — JANUARY 26, 2013 — Index Corporation (headquarters: Setagaya, Tokyo, CEO: Yoshimi Ogawa) has announced a collaboration with Nintendo Co., Ltd. on a new RPG for the recently launched game console, Wii U™. Limited Quantity Box Sets Available for North American Launch on April 16, 2013
IRVINE, CALIFORNIA — JANUARY 25, 2013 — ATLUS, a brand of Index Digital Media, Inc., today announced details of the box set for Shin Megami Tensei®: Devil Summoner®: Soul Hackers, coming to North America on April 16, 2013, exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS™ handheld. True collectors and fans that pre-order or pick up the game at retail launch will be treated to a limited edition boxed set that contains the game along with a CD filled with newly arranged versions of the game’s beautiful musical themes. Voted on by fans in Japan, the top six tracks are included on the CD. Although Soul Hackers will also be available for digital download purchase on Nintendo eShop, the music tracks will only be available in the retail launch box version, and those quantities will be limited. Atlus And Nintendo Team Up To Bring A Shin Megami Tensei And Fire Emblem Crossover To Wii U
One of the more surprising announcements from the Nintendo Direct broadcast from earlier today revealed that Nintendo and Atlus are collaborating on a new game for Wii U. That game is currently titled Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem. The game will be featuring characters from the SMT universe alongside characters from the Fire Emblem franchise. A brief trailer of the game was shown, but not much details were given. So no real confirmation on just what kind of game this will become.
