What TV Shows Are You Watching?

I don't watch television, but that'll change this Sunday. Its Walking Dead season with bad ass Rick and that big ging, Abraham

Finished up Wolverine and the X-Men recently on Netflix and dunno what else to watch. Kinda pissed that they cancelled that show after 1 season after what they had already set up for a Season 2.

Also watching Gotham and Agent Carter each week. Looking forward to next week's Gotham. Looks like they're about to set up some cool stuff regarding Batman and Scarecrow.

Have you watched the Flash yet? Tried arrow, supernatural or the 100?

Better Call Saul
The Walking Dead
The 100
Modern Family

I'm also watching House of Cards season 3 but I'll probably be done with that in a day or two.

I watch a Japanese-language channel in Los Angeles called UTB 18.2 a lot. I follow Last Cinderella and Marumo's Story every week. Too bad Japanese TV shows often only last for one season of 13 episodes even if they are super successful.

Sometimes I also watch Doctor-X because the music is fucking amazing:

Is that something your wife made you watch or is it good?

No it's good. The story isn't very original but it's really funny. The main actress is fantastic.

Oh and while we're on the subject of fantastic actresses in TV leading roles...

Fresh Off The Boat is brilliant and Constance Wu deserves a long career in comedy. It airs on ABC on Tuesdays nights.

So, what am I watching now? Hm. Well...

(Still) Blue Bloods
(Still) NCIS: LA
NCIS: New Orleans
(Still) Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Wow, Suits is still going? I haven't had cable in a while, how many seasons in is that show?

I picked up AoS when it came to Netflix, not too bad. A little disappointed Sif and Fury are the only ones to come to the show so far but, I can see why. Just thought maybe someone like Hawkeye or Black Widow would make an appearance. The show is towards the bottom in the list of current comic shows at the moment imo. Chloe Bennet makes it all worthwhile though. ;) lol

Speaking of comic shows how is Gotham? I caught a few episodes out of order and it kinda turned me off, gonna give it another shot when it comes to Netflix. From what I saw the episodes are like the monster of the week kinda shows with the Fish Mooney/Penguin stuff being the main story.

I caught MasterChef Junior one random night The Flash was on reruns.... not bad. Is a new season up? Thought I saw the finale a week or two ago. These kids cook better than I do. lol

I'm a few episodes into Sword Art Online and it's ok but I don't understand the hype so far.
Personally only enjoyed the first half of the 1st season. Season 2 is a step above the latter half of season 1 but, I'm not sure it's an anime I'm gonna be sticking to after a while.

I kinda wanna buy the dvd for G Gundam.... WITH THE HELP OF KYOJII!!!! lol

I think 3-4 seasons. If you watch the current season now, much of the story won't make sense, so get to work. It's one big bad, to the next. It keeps getting worse for the crew. I love it. I'm looking forward to Summer's episodes.

AoS is supposed to fill holes for "Avengers" and other Marvel films. For example, in Winter Soldier, parts of it calls out S.H.I.E.L.D to other areas - one of the AoS episodes crossed from there to Winter Soldier, so... if you watched AoS before watching Winter Soldier, you were spoiled. They intentionally cut off that episode as a mid-Season Finale, so people can get the chance to see Winter Soldier before being spoiled by AoS.

There's a documentary that talks specifically about this. AoS is supposed to bridge the gap between S.H.I.E.L.D, bring the whole Avengers crew together and build it up. AoS is pretty much a story build for Marvel, so if you don't watch AoS, many of the stories within the Marvel universe won't make sense. For example, Thor 2's ending crossed into Guardians of the Galaxy. DC Comics noticed this trend and wants to do the same for much of their franchises.

If I were you, I'd watch the whole series because the story progression is spot on. Much of the story seems to be filling holes for other Batman films/games. Watching "Gotham" made go like "ah, that makes sense now." By the time you're caught up, you will understand much of the plot. I understood Penguin, I understood Riddler, Catwoman, Scarecrow, Gordon, and most of all... The Joker.

Yeah, the finale was a week ago. I was expecting Nathan to win, but Ramsey chose the other one. I agree, most of those kids cook better than the adults like us. I'm impressed, actually. It's why I watch it, despite it being a kid's show.

Eh, I still don't have cable and cba to look for a way to watch it. Just didn't think the show would go on so long, has everyone found out what's his name didn't go to college? His hot girlfriend still on the show? lol

Yeah I get that, I'm somewhat caught up on season 2, didn't get to see the first couple of eps and last weeks ep bored me but I know about the inhumans set up and what not. Wonder if this means Chloe (Skye) will be in the movie....

Really? Thought seeing some of these guys would be dumb since from what I know, Batman being Batman kinda got some of his villains becoming who they are.

Heh, I was rooting for the other one. Lil Mexican kid bringing some mexican dishes throughout the show. I ended watching most of the episodes, I liked when they pied the judges in the face. That one kid (Nathan?) grabbed a lot more topping and threw it on his pie before he went after Ramsay lol.

Yes, still girlfriend. You'll find a nice surprise by the time you get to either last season, or this season. There's a bombshell at the end of this season's finale.

Skye invoked a lot of frustration at Marvel over the whole "mutants" thing. So, I think she'll be a major player in the films to come.

Gotham is about that. Gotham chronicles about how Oswald Cobblepot became The Penguin, or how Edward Nygma became The Riddler, or how Selina Kyle became The Catwoman, or how Bruce Wayne grew from a nobody whose family was wealthy... This is the most definite version of any origins storyline you'll ever get.

I like Andrew, but he's inconsistent sometimes.

Ah okay, I figured Penguins origin was there although isn't he just like a mob boss anyway? lol Never would've thought The Riddler would be that much older than Bruce, wondering how that goes since he's what a coronor with the police? Selina... from the short bits of episodes I've seen I could've done without Selina. Bruce is cool, hoping they kinda give him that Earth 1 Alfred I keep hearing about... Is the 1st season over or close to being over? I accidently read a spoiler and wanna go through it already haha.
