I finally saw Avengers over the weekend. Good movie. And it was partially filmed in my hometown, so it was cool seeing some familiar sites in the movie.

Boondock Saints really confusing movie. I didn't understand why some of the stuff in the movie was happening.

Just watched two movies today:

Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan
Watched the episode from the TV series in which Khan was introduced too. My Star Trek knowledge is very limited (I had only seen 3 episodes of Next Generation before today), but despite that, I still enjoyed it, which is good because I needed more proof that I'm an utter geek! Khan's appearance in the show was kind of "goofy" for lack of a better word, but he was an awesome villain in the movie.

I also caught the end of the first Star Trek movie which my dad was watching last night. It wasn't very good. It DID however make me appreciate how much more exciting and interesting Wrath of Khan was by comparison!

Jurassic Park
I always thought the premise to Jurassic Park was kind of, eh, I'll use the word again, goofy. And yeah, it is goofy, but it's executed really well. I cared about the characters and wanted to see them make it through, rather than just see dinosaurs eat crap. The action sequences were really cool, but there were also a fair share of quiet moments that prevented it from just feeling like a dumb action film. It was a fun mix of various genres, and again, I enjoyed it.
