The PS4 Pro is a year and two months old, do you think Mojang is ever going to show it some love?

The PS4 Pro is now a year and two months old and Mojang hasn't done anything to enhance Minecraft for PS4 and it just blows my mind. I know that Mojang is owned by Microsoft but if they did something to boost Minecraft performance and visuals on the PS4 Pro they would sell more copies. Do you think Mojang is ever going to show the PS4 some love?

I have been wondering that as well. I don't have the PS4 Pro but the 2nd model, slim? I think it's what it's called. I really, really love the console itself and I did buy Minecraft on it.

However, I am a bit sad when I see what Xbox One is getting compared to us. You have a point when you mentioned Microsoft and Mojang. That's exactly why they are showing hardly any love for the PS4's since it's Sony. We all know the whole "war" between Sony and Microsoft. Perhaps it's their way of trying to pull more people towards Xbox.

I know former that Microsoft/Mojang want to bring the Better Together update along with the Super Duper graphics to the PS4. But as it stands right now, Sony has sold 60,m+ PS4's and Microsoft has only sold 30m+ Xbox Ones. So who knows maybe Sony feels like it doesn't need the Better Together update and the Super Duper graphics.

P.S. If its one thing that I learned over the years is the Japanese have a TON of pride and it's hard for them to change their Mind on things because of their pride. So I hate to say it I wouldn't get my hopes up for the Better Together update. But there is a chance for the bedrock engine and the Super Duper graphics.

I think considering the mojave has long term plans. And they are expanding on the mobile devices more. I am not sure if the plans from them are good enough on that end for anything specific. I think they make common framework for game and then port accordingly. I think PS 4 Pro was meant as placeholder release. So not sure what they are planning for such released product.

I agree they may eventually port the bedrock engine to the PS4 and they may even release the Better Together graphics on the PS4 Pro. But the better together update is not looking good for the PS4. Sony is hard headed and full of pride and I doubt that they are going to change their mind.
