Would you guys like a Vita version of the game Minecraft? I just recently picked up the game for the 360, and it is a joy building homes and all that brouhaha. What do ya think?

I might buy it if it were to come out since I haven't really played it before other than a little in the free browser version. It shouldn't be too hard to port really, hopefully Sony's gift will convince Notch to get working on it.

Daniel said Mojang will not be developing Minecraft for PSVita. They developed for Sony originally and that's when they first branched out to other platforms. Notch owns a PSVita SCEA sent him one with loads of games, if hey enjoys it enough maybe he'll want to see Minecraft developed for it.
Who knows 
It would be a perfect out source for them, I'm sure any company big and small would love to take it on. Also would probably push the sales of the PS Vita especially if it matches the xbox version. The Pocket Edition is so far behind.

Anyways, back on topic. I really hope they do make a Vita Minecraft, even if it doesnt seem likely. The Pocket Edition is pretty good. Surprisingly it doesn't lag as much as I expected. With the Vita's power, I extremely doubt that it cant handle Minecraft.

It will come to the vita........they've got to take notice as to how many people want this!!!!! They would make tons of money and vita sales would increase also. It's a sure hit!
That's cause the phone/iOS version of it sucks compared to the computer version.

The pocket edition is the extremely watered down version hardly a good example of Minecraft.
Minecraft is a vast open world where you build what ever you want whether it be castles, cities even machines. I play on survival mode since I like the challenge of gather resources and defending against monsters. I usually just climb up a mountain an imagine what I could build in the terrain ahead of me then get to work gathering resources necessary by chopping the wood, mining the stone or iron gathering or hunting food. You dont even have to build you can just explore the world. there are always different oceans, deserts, jungles, caverns, npc villages etc. Not to mention there is a nether world you can explore if you make a portal there. there is plenty more to it than what i mentioned but it should give you an idea of what else is out there.

I agree; I think I can speak for most minecraft players with vitas when I say that I would play Minecraft online (saying that there would be servers) on my vita MORE than Call of Duty or any other vita game coming up. Where did you read he's developing for the Vita ? Do you have a link. As far as Minecraft coming to Vita it all depends on what kind of exclusivity deal MS has on it.
