I played a variety of sports growing up and still try to as an adult, but there were a few I was never exposed to that would still love to try some day.

What would you go back and try, or would try, if you could?

For me, hockey and lacrosse would be my top picks.

When I was growing up I played soccer, lacrosse, and ran track. I always wanted to play football however my mom would not fill out the necessary permission slips. In my older age I am actually glad I never played football especially with all of the concussion issues we are learning about today, such as CTE. I do wish I picked up golf. A lot of my coworkers play and it would be nice to be able to go out and play with them. I would go but they have all played for a long time so I would end up holding everything up and no one wants to be that guy.

My favorite sport is basketball. My brother plays it since childhood and perhaps that is the reason why I am so attracted to it. I've never played it, but I like to watch it. It is very dynamic, it requires energetic, enthusiastic players, and since I am all into sports I would like to play it some day in a fully professional team. For now, that is just one of my wishes but I hope it will become true.

Well I have always wanted to try fencing. To this day I am still not completely sure of how it is scored, but I would just figure it out as I went. As long as I was there in that uniform with my little sword (epee) I would feel good and ready to go. I always try to watch this event at the Olympics, but I think I missed out here in the last one. Maybe someday I will get to try it, but until then I can still dream. Thanks for sharing.

You might get lucky with finding a Groupon for trying a class in your area. Once in a while I find one and I get it. It is always a beginners class, and usually there are quite a few kids in it, but looks can be deceiving! Kids have a better center of gravity and they are QUICK.

I recommend at least trying it once, just to see how much fun it is. Learning the rules makes watching the sport on the Olympics pretty mind blowing as well.

Are there any rec leagues in your area?

I never thought of that, but that is a great idea.  It cannot hurt to take a look, and really when I think about my options, that is probably the best one that I can think of.  It is not necessarily the most popular sport out there.

As in, professionally? Football!

I have to admit, I'm not really a football type of guy. I don't follow any clubs or leagues, I just watch the world cup. I can hardly call that passionate.
But sometimes, the passion just randomly starts flowing through my veins. I feel like I want to be the hero of my nation, and singlehandedly win world cups. Doesn't last long, though. 10 minutes later I'll laugh about it.

I would like to be a professional car driver, I'd like to be in rallys, races and stuff of that sort. I'd be really amazing and fun to do.

When I was growing up Tennis was always my go to sport, I remember when I was around 7 years old I was in an after school club where they taught you tennis and you played and I was really good at that and stuck with it. If I was going to go back to any kind of sport it would more than likely be Tennis as I enjoy that and never tire of it.
