I knew some free video converter, like handbrake, freemake video converter, and recently i also happen to know a newly updated tool with the interesting name: VidPie. And about the tool to download from hulu videos, i recommend the streamtransport. But never have i gotten the idea of free bluray...

Having tried so many video editor but can't find a program able to join my sony sr12 mts files into one without re-encoding. I don't want to change mts to mkv or mp4. i only want to preserve the original HD quality for enjoying on wd tv live. Can you some guys help to recommend some useful tools...

Thanks for your tips. It seems that Handbrake's popular now. :) But for its format restriction, only exporting mp4, mkv. I don't have a high crush on it.

yes, the price is a big attraction

The most attraction to me may be the high resolution to fullfill my needs of wathing movies. I've a collections of dvds, enjoy dvd movies on the tablet with high resoultion feels better.

Mainly for watching movies. it seemed that the new ipad has a high resolution.

Kindle fire is $300 cheaper;)
