It has been a while since Konami has released anything Silent Hill. For those of you who don’t know what Silent Hill is – allow me to introduce you: Silent Hill was released in 1999 for the original PlayStation console. It was a survival horror series that also psychologically preys on your sense of dread. It spawned a few sequels. The last Silent Hill release was “Silent Hill: Book of Memories,” and the last numbered title was 4. There was supposed to be a game developed by Hideo Kojima, but was never released. However, there was a demo released specifically designed for that Hideo Kojima Silent Hill game: P.T. The demo is so iconic, it has become a legend of its own. A console with the P.T. download will fetch you a lot of money for example. I’m trying to tell you how legendary P.T. is. There was also a Silent Hill film released in 2006, and grossed $100 Million.
