Call of Duty: Vanguard’s Alpha is on PlayStation consoles first

After the announcement of Call of Duty: Vanguard, and the worldwide reveal of Vanguard, players were wondering “What about Multiplayer? When is Multiplayer gonna get revealed?” Well, you don’t have to wait any longer for that information because during the Call of Duty League Championship Weekend, Activision revealed Call of Duty: Vanguard’s Multiplayer via a free Alpha for PlayStation owners. You can download the free Call of Duty: Vanguard Alpha starting August 27th, through 29th. The alpha is called “Champion Hill Alpha,” and it consists of small team deathmatch style modes in 2v2, and 3v3 battles. There’ll be a few maps with the alpha – Airstrip, Trainyard, Market, and Courtyard. You can earn cash to get upgrades – what kind of upgrades, we don’t really know for sure, but there are some hints: Killstreaks, upgraded weapon power, or field upgrades.

There will be more information and more Call of Duty: Vanguard video(s) in the coming week. Campaign footage will be released during Gamescom on August 25th, to 27th. Call of Duty: Vanguard is slated to be released for PlayStaton 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, and PC on November 5, 2021.
