In 1994/1995, Sega released their 32-Bit Sega Saturn – depending on the region. Panzer Dragoon was a launch title for Sega Saturn in the U.S. It was a rail shooter that allowed you to roam a terrain within a level (or stages, however you like to call them) eliminating enemies onscreen. Panzer Dragoon was ported to PS2, PC, and the original Xbox. Panzer Dragoon spanned 5 other titles in the series. Only 3 of the 5 are critically penned as good games: Panzer Dragoon II Zwei (Sequel), Panzer Dragoon Saga (RPG), and Panzer Dragoon Orta. No release date has been confirmed for the PlayStation 4 version, but Forever Entertainment announced that PC owners can start downloading Panzer Dragoon Remake on Steam or GOG very soon.
