Test Drive has been around since 1987. It’s been through many developers and publishers over the years. Recently, Bigben Interactive acquired the “Test Drive” and related brand(s). Bigben then brought the Test Drive brand under the Nacon umbrella. Nacon is known for its line of peripherals, and they do create games, too. Alongside the Test Drive brand, they own the WRC branding and/or licensing. The game is said to be using the WRC engine, but will use the “Test Drive Unlimited” gameplay style. KT Racing says they want to keep the Test Drive brand the way it was, and update it for current audiences. Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown does not have a release date. KT Racing wants to perfect the game and technology. Which platforms it’s planning to be released for is unknown, too. However, it’s coming to PC via Steam.
