On October 12th, Activision released Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 worldwide. Though, you couldn’t play the game online until October 10th. Therefore, players were locked out of anything that touches online play. No Multiplayer, no Black Out, no Zombies online. The only thing on the menu you could access is “local.” You had to install the game itself (55GB on playStation 4, and 55GB on Xbox One), and a huge update (55GB on PlayStation 4, and 55GB on Xbox One). In total, you’ll need about 112GB on your harddrive for the console of your choice. [Source]
THIS is Battle Royale, the Black Ops way!
Activision and Treyarch released a new trailer about the Zombie experiences that you’ll have the chance to play in. Black Ops 4 comes with 3 stories or modes right from the very first day you boot up Call of Duty: BO4…
Blood of the Dead is a reimagining of “Mob of the Dead” from Black Ops 2…
Activision and Treyarch also released a trailer about the “Classified” zombies experience that’s available through Black Ops Pass…
Activision and Treyarch also released a new trailer for “Shadowman” character that can be used in Black Out. This also requires the Black Ops Pass…
This year’s Call of Duty marketing strategy centers around YOU.
Activision and Treyarch’s marketing strategy was a bit different. Their pre-launch marketing campaign was pulled from the beta of Black Ops 4, and used as parody-like commercials like this one…

There are more at Call of Duty’s YouTube Channel. These videos centered around YouTubers and Streamers playing BlackOut, to show off what you can do in Black Out.
Then, on launch day, Activision launched a new e-mail campaign that leads you to a page to create a video for you. What it does, is calculates all your gameplay stats from Black Ops, Black Ops 2, and Black Ops 3 into a video showing off how good you are in the game. You can either embed the video that’s provided to you, or share the link provided to you on Social Media sites. Or you can download the video, upload it anywhere you want.
If you’ve been playing Black Ops since day one, like I did… your stats are calculated into a video. I don’t know how they did this, but it was impressive seeing them do that. See for yourself…
I got this as an e-mail from CallofDuty.com.
To get this, you’d have to be registered to CallofDuty.com for years.
You should already have stats for Black Ops, Black Ops 2, and Black Ops 3.
You should already have linked your PSN, Xbox, or whatever to your account.
You should log in.
You should go to this link.
You can either share the video or download it (like I did).
